GUIDELINES TO PARENTS REGARDING SAFETY & SECURITY MEASURES
Safety and Security have become a major concern in all schools. To bring about a general awareness the following points should be taken into account by all parents-
Security Concerns inside & outside the school premises-
Parents are requested to check the bags of your children on regular basis. Sharp objects like a knife, darts or any small objects which can cause choking specially for the primary & pre primary students are not to be brought to the school. Also any kind of inflammable objects are also not to be allowed.
In case of any mis happening with the student outside school premises where the student is identified in school uniform , the school is not to be held responsible for the incident but it is the moral responsibility of the school to intimate it to the parents.
Parents should discourage the students from using personal vehicles like scooty, motorcycle or cars. School transport should be used for commuting.
Private vehicles like vans or mini buses which are used by the students should be properly verified and the security issues will be the responsibility of the parents.
Parents are requested to restrict their students to bring mobile phones to the school. The sort of communication between the student and the parent can be done by using the phone at the reception.
Parents should adhere to school policy regarding the safety and security of all students and follow the rules and regulations in place from time to time.
Parents should make sure that the students wear their I cards to the school.
Parents should not send the child to the school in case he is sick, or he is suffering from any contaminated disease. In case a child has a history of fits or any other ailment of that nature, the home room teacher or teacher in charge should be made aware of it.
It is important to note that criticism regarding a staff member will only be heard if it is related to their professional conduct.Parents are requested to speak to the person involved first and try to resolve the concern with mutual respect and clear communication, If for some reason this is not possible, then make an appointment to see the Principal to find resolution.
