Harit Diwali-Swasth Diwali Campaign by MoE
Eminent schools of DPSG society participated in the “Harit Diwali-Swasth Diwali” exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change (Govt. of India) on 17th August, 2017 in The Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, New Delhi.
A team of 54 students represented DPSG Palam Vihar, Gurgaon in which 12 students of grade VI, VII & VIII participated in model competition, 10 students of grade IV participated in Mix media, 15 students of grade VII, VIII & IX participated in Nukkad Natak and 13 students in drawing competition and 04 students participated in PPT making on Anti Pollution.
The programme started with pomp and show commencing with welcoming of the chief guest, Dr. Harsh Vardhan ,the incumbent minister at Ministry of Science & Technology (India), and the Principals of DPSG schools . Dr. Harsh Vardhan delivered a motivational speech based on the theme to the young generation.
The function further proceeded with the “Nukkad Natak” which was presented by the students of DPSG Palam Vihar and other schools of Delhi which added colour to the event. There was a science exhibition based on “Anti-pollution” in which students of various DPSG schools participated with vigour. Honourable Chief guest, Dr. Harsh Vardhan scrutinised and admired every model and appreciated the hard-work done by the students.
